A retest has to be carried out within 10 working days of the failure, there is no charge for the retest.

If the vehicle fails the retest or goe's over the 10 days then another full test is required which there will be a fee.

If you do not agree with the items listed as failure you may appeal, IF YOU WISH TO APPEAL, DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE REPAIRED before any such appeal test is carried out. for further information call VOSA's contact centre on 0300 123 9000.
